Your guide to using Vivahsphurthi

Getting Started

You can register in two ways:
  1. Online (Recommended): Visit www.vivahsphurthi.com and click "Register." Follow the steps and complete the secure online payment via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Our payment gateway uses SSL encryption for maximum security. This is the fastest and easiest method.
  2. Offline: Visit any official Vivahsphurthi office (Branch/Franchise). You can complete registration and make payments via Cash, Cheque, or UPI.
All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR).
After successful registration and payment confirmation, you will receive your unique Profile ID and password via your registered email and primary mobile number. Go to www.vivahsphurthi.com, click "Login," enter your Profile ID (or registered email) and your password (remember it's case-sensitive), and click the Login button.

Tip: If you forget your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page.
Document submission is mandatory for verification and building trust within the Vivahsphurthi community. Required documents (ID proof, Address proof, Income proof, Education proof) help confirm the authenticity of profiles. You can upload these directly via your profile or email them to inquiry@vivahsphurthi.com. We compare these documents with your profile details and add a 'Verified' tag accordingly.

Failure to submit mandatory ID proof WILL result in restricted access or profile suspension. (See Terms & Conditions Clause 7).

Profile Management

Photos significantly increase your profile's visibility. To upload:
  1. Log in to your profile.
  2. Go to 'My Profile' > 'Edit Profile'.
  3. Navigate to the 'Photo Gallery' section.
  4. Click 'Add More Photos' or the upload icon.
  5. Choose your photo file (JPG, GIF, or PNG format).
  6. Click 'Upload'.
You can add up to five (5) photos. Each photo must be under 10 MB in size. Ensure photos are recent, clear, and only of yourself. Using manipulated or fake photos is strictly prohibited (See Terms & Conditions Clause 8.7).
Keeping your profile updated is important. Log in, go to 'My Profile', and select 'Edit Profile'. You can update most sections here, including personal details, preferences, photos, and descriptions. Remember that changing certain core details might affect your membership package or match results (See Terms & Conditions Clause 7.8).
Your primary email and mobile number are crucial for communication and verification. To change them, you typically need to contact our customer support team for security reasons. Please call +91-9148220101 or email info@vivahsphurthi.com for assistance.
If you wish to permanently delete your account (e.g., after finding a match or deciding to leave the platform), please contact our customer support team via email at info@vivahsphurthi.com or through the options available in your profile settings (if applicable). Note that account deletion is permanent, and data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and Data Retention policy (See Terms & Conditions Clause 9).

Using the Site & Features

Vivahsphurthi uses an automated system to suggest matches based on the information in your profile (like age, community, education, location) and the partner preferences you set. The system compares your criteria against other members' profiles and vice-versa. For the best results, ensure your profile is detailed and your preferences are accurate.
Once logged in, you'll find various search options:
  • Basic Search: Filter by essential criteria like age, height, community, location.
  • Advanced Search: Use more detailed filters like education, occupation, income, marital status, lifestyle habits, etc.
  • Keyword Search: Look for specific words in profiles.
  • Profile ID Search: Directly view a profile if you know its ID.

Depending on your membership package, you can express interest and communicate with other members:
  • Send Interest: Shows the other member you are interested in their profile.
  • View Contacts: Higher-tier packages allow viewing a certain number (or unlimited) contact details (phone/email) of other members. (See Terms & Conditions Clause 23 for package details).
  • Messaging/Chat: Engage in secure messaging through our platform.
Always communicate respectfully. Offensive language is strictly prohibited (See Terms & Conditions Clause 12).
We occasionally offer promotional discount codes via advertisements (print, TV, social media) or through referrals from existing members. If you have a valid code, select your desired membership package. On the payment page, look for an option like "Have a promotional code? Click here." Enter the code exactly as provided to apply the discount before making the payment.

Security, Trust & Safety

Yes, we take data security seriously. We use SSL encryption for data transmission, secure servers, access controls, and regular security audits. Our payment gateways are also highly secure. However, you also play a crucial role by keeping your password confidential and reporting any suspicious activity immediately. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details.
The 'Verified' tick indicates that the member has submitted the corresponding document (e.g., ID proof, Education proof) and we have performed a basic check comparing it to their profile information. However, this is NOT a guarantee of authenticity or a background check. We do not independently verify the validity of documents with issuing authorities. You MUST still perform your own due diligence when interacting with any member (See Terms & Conditions Clause 27).
Your safety is paramount. Follow these tips:
  • Verify Independently: Chat extensively online first. Try to verify information through mutual contacts or simple online searches before meeting.
  • Inform Someone: Tell a friend or family member your plans: where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to return. Share your live location if possible.
  • Meet in Public & Stay Public: Always choose a safe, busy, public place for initial meetings (e.g., coffee shop, restaurant during daytime). Avoid isolated locations or going to their home/private space initially.
  • Arrange Own Transport: Use your own transportation or a reliable taxi/ride-share service to get to and from the meeting place. Don't rely on them for rides early on.
  • Guard Personal Information: Do NOT share overly personal details like your exact home address, financial information (bank details, salary slips, credit card numbers), or sensitive passwords early in the interaction.
  • Trust Your Instincts: If something feels wrong, unsafe, or uncomfortable during the interaction or meeting, leave immediately. Your safety is more important than politeness.
  • Report Suspicious Behavior: If a member exhibits inappropriate, fraudulent, aggressive, or suspicious behavior, report them to us immediately via vivahsphurthi@vivahsphurthi.com.
We have systems to detect and remove suspicious profiles, but we also rely on our members. If you encounter a profile you believe is fake, misleading, or being used for non-matrimonial purposes, please use the 'Report Profile' feature (if available) or contact our Grievance Officer immediately at vivahsphurthi@vivahsphurthi.com. Providing specific details helps us investigate and take appropriate action, including profile termination (See Terms & Conditions Clause 22).

Membership & Support

Standard membership on Vivahsphurthi lasts for one (1) year from the date of activation. You will receive renewal reminders before your membership expires (See Terms & Conditions Clause 18).
No. As stated clearly in our Terms and Conditions (Clause 6.7), all membership fees once paid are strictly non-refundable.
